Introduction

Welcome to Milton Taxi and Car Service. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our services. By booking or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read these terms carefully before using our services.

Service Agreement

By making a booking with Milton Taxi and Car Service, you agree to the following:

  1. Booking Confirmation: All bookings made are subject to availability and confirmation from us. A confirmation email or message will be sent once your booking has been accepted.
  2. Service Fulfillment: We will endeavor to provide the service as booked, including the vehicle type and timing. However, in the event of unforeseen circumstances (e.g., traffic delays, weather conditions), there may be slight delays.
  3. Passenger Conduct: Passengers are expected to behave in a respectful and lawful manner. We reserve the right to refuse service to any individual or group that is disorderly or poses a safety risk to the driver or vehicle.

Payment & Fees

  1. Payment Terms: Payment for the service is due at the time of booking or upon completion of the service, as specified.
  2. Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made within given hours of the scheduled service time will incur a cancellation fee of required % of the booking price. Cancellations made prior to this window will be fully refunded.
  3. No-show Policy: If a passenger fails to show up for a scheduled pickup without notice, a no-show fee equivalent to the full fare will apply.
  4. Changes to Bookings: Any changes to bookings, such as pick-up time or location, should be made at least given hours in advance and are subject to availability.

Liability

  1. Limitations of Liability: While we aim to provide a high standard of service, we shall not be held responsible for any loss, damage, or delay caused by events outside of our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, road closures, or accidents.
  2. Personal Belongings: Passengers are responsible for their personal belongings. Milton Taxi and Car Service is not liable for any loss or damage to items left in the vehicle.
  3. Insurance: Our vehicles are fully insured, but this insurance does not cover the loss of personal items or any injury due to passenger negligence.

Driver & Vehicle Conditions

  1. Driver Responsibility: All drivers are licensed and trained to provide a safe and comfortable journey. If at any time the driver deems the service to be unsafe due to passenger behavior, the service may be terminated.
  2. Vehicle Conditions: Vehicles provided by Milton Taxi and Car Service will be clean, safe, and well-maintained. Any damage caused by passengers to the vehicle will result in additional charges for repair.

Privacy & Data Collection

  1. Personal Data: Any personal information collected during the booking process will be used solely for the purpose of providing transportation services. We do not share personal data with third parties unless required by law.
  2. Data Security: We take appropriate measures to ensure the security of your personal data. However, no online transmission is completely secure, and you accept the risk of data breaches when making bookings.

Amendments to Terms

Milton Taxi and Car Service reserves the right to modify or update these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
